Before he could walk he wanted to ride! Matt grew up watching his dad race. Racing was something he wanted to do. Running around in his new shoes, Matt would see if they could make him faster. Matt always had a need for speed. At a young age Matt raced go-karts, winning several awards. He also rode dirt bikes with family and friends. 4 wheelers, of course, weren't far behind. Soon Matt wanted more; he wanted to be a driver. He began racing a Thunder Truck - then finally he got to Emod - and still wants to move to Modified.
Matt has learned a lot about racing. First he had to learn how to be calm in situations so he could make it to where he wanted to go. He learned new machinery time after time, hand eye coordination and effective ways to get to the end of the finish line.
With all that he has done, Matt has learned that he likes the excitement. Racing is a rush, and his need for speed thrills him. Racing is his passion, it's his fun. Matt loves the race, every time. He brings his family together and makes a show worth while. That boy sure is a racer.
